I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank-you so much for the beautiful and more importantly, delicious wedding cake that you made for Carrie's wedding. All the guests commented on how absolutely yummy it was and wanted to know who had made it! I'm glad to say that we did have plenty to go around and plenty to share afterwards. Her wedding was perfect and it's thanks to people like you that made it so special for her. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. I thought the icing looked perfect and the flowers with the leaves were beautiful. And Kurt’s groom’s cake was darling. They loved it. No real damage to the cake, thank goodness. I just thought that was ironic since we were talking about people with common sense while I was packing the cake into my truck.

I just wanted to send you a little note saying thank you for the wonderful cake you created for our wedding on December 17th. I didn't get a chance to see you before you left to say thank you, so I wanted to do so today. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and delicious cake! A little humour...my sister-in-law didn't understand the "mad hatter" theme; she kept worrying that the upper tiers were slipping. I think that she must have checked it a dozen times!
We had a lot of cake left over...almost the entire lower tier (final guest count was 112, not 150). The kitchen staff obviously cut the "kitchen cake" for serving instead of the lower tier...it doesn't matter, as I served it again at the Bridal Brunch we had on Sunday, and my guests enjoyed having a second (or third) piece.
I know that Allison and David will enjoy the honeymoon cake and the anniversary cake...I continue to enjoy the lower tier!

I know we're supposed to leave you alone 'til it gets closer to the date and all, but I wanted to say thank you. We both had such a great time. Thanks for making the process so fun and personal (not to mention ultra-super-delicious). Also, thanks for whipping up a cake for us on such short notice. We have divided it up and right now there are pieces of it that are ready to be sent to Fairfax, a piece that is frozen for travel to Florida come Friday, and a goodly chunk to bring in for a tiny office party (small office, and they are very excited about the big to-do).
